Emmanuel is originally from Troyes in the heart of Champagne and has lived in Norway for over twelve years - with the exception, however, of a nine-month stay in Japan. Before settling in Oslo, Emmanuel worked in Dublin and Barcelona.
For Emmanuel, teaching French is both a personal and professional development project. He built his own pedagogy through his experiences with students from very varied backgrounds and ages. Teaching his students to use the language in situ is at the heart of his approach.
His students often describe Emmanuel as "a patient and supportive professional."
